Q: What's the most impactful book you've read?
A: The Unsettling of America: Culture & Agriculture by Wendell Berry. While my thinking on some of Berry's arguments has shifted over the years, there's no doubt that this book was a pivotal early influence along my path and continues to shape my perspective in lasting ways.
