1. TEXTBOOKS

Below this box, you'll find the textbooks you need for class. You should know that the library has almost every textbook required for classes at NMC. That's a lot of books and could save you a ton of money!

2. E-REFERENCE

To the left, you will see two big buttons, one for CREDO Reference and one for Gale Virtual Reference Library.
These collections include encyclopedia sets, dictionaries, atlases, etc.
They are on this first page because they are often the BEST place to start your research. The information in them is likely to be very accurate and straightforward, so it's a great place to learn the basics: definitions, timelines, facts, history, important people, etc.

3. HELP FROM A LIBRARIAN

To the left, you'll see a box that says, "Live Chat with a Librarian." You can use this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get help via chat. You won't ever be connected to a robot, only real librarians who can help you with research night or day.
An even better option is to make an appointment with one of your own librarians, either in person in the library or via zoom. You can do this from the library web page or using this link.
