Welcome to Traverse City!

Travese City is a small "city"--just under 15,000 in the last census--but it serves the surrounding area of  around143,000.  Because of its location, many people vacation in the area.  Locals are accustomed to being friendly and helpful to visitors.  Don't be afraid to ask for directions or other information!  We are glad you're here!
